Instruction:
Opening:
To open the class I will take attendance while students are in their seats. Once attendance has been taken students will move to sit with their partners. While students are moving and getting settled I will answer questions that students may need answered so they can get to work on their project.
Engagement:
While the student's are working i am going to go around to each group and ask them a couple of questions and check on their progression. I want to get an idea of what students have done so far and how much they still have left to do. Through the questions I ask i want to make sure the students know how their project pertains to photosynthesis. I want to make sure I'm available to answer all the questions that students have while they have their materials in front of them.
Closure:
To close the class i will tell everyone that they need to start cleaning up their projects and the areas they were working in. With the last 5 minutes each group will answer the questions what have you finished on your project and what do you have left. This is so I am keeping them working towards the goal of finishing this project and being aware that they will have to hand this in at some point.
